January is International Creativity Month and in honor of that, one of our CF Team Members has decided to write a poem about travelling, and the way that it can change our perspective on life.
I like planes.
Window seats, in particular.
I like to look down at scattered dots
That could be houses and workplaces
I follow moving points
Cars, buses, bikes
Full of full-sized people
And full-sized dreams.
I seek comfort in the knowledge that if
Mountains can be reduced to the size of
My thumb,
And rivers can look like stray hairs
On the back of my winter jacket,
Then the magnificent problems I have
Can also morph into golden dust
Into a fraction of an eyelash
Into the nothingness of time.
