Message from the Founders- July 2020

To the ConnectFor Community,

We truly hope everyone is doing enough within their capacities to maintain social distance and keep safe in these unprecedented times. With our associations with 400+ NGO Partners across India, we have been able to identify gaps and challenges affecting the nonprofits today. To offset the inaccessibility of education for millions of children in India, we started an initiative on Phone Schooling — Connecting the Disconnected with Udaan India Foundation, to equip 500 children with phones and internet connectivity for virtual education. With our pool of generous community donors, we fulfilled our goal of INR 20,00,000 to equip 500 students with internet-connected phones for a term, only within 3 days. With such an overwhelming response, we have now raised our goal to 1000 phones for 1000 children.

We will be stoked to have corporates contribute their CSR funds to our initiative by giving the children of India the gift of education.

Furthermore, in all other aspects, we have been innovating and curating some exclusive corporate volunteering activities for our Corporate Partners to come together and make a difference virtually. Our knowledge-sharing endeavors continue with weekly webinars, trending at-home educational & recreational virtual volunteering activities, and industry-specific blogs.
