It’s that time of the year again where we all make resolutions for the New Year. In 2021, let’s add “Volunteering” to that list. Devote your time and skills for a good cause!

We, at ConnectFor, have partnered with 450+ NGOs to bring you a variety of opportunities. Here are some ways in which you can volunteer from the safety and convenience of your home and start 2021 on the right foot:

1. Be an Online Tutor:

This new year, pledge to educate a child. Teach basic Math, Science, Conversational English to kids from an NGO. You can also help them by curating learning aids for their beneficiaries in form of worksheets, interesting videos, quizzes, etc.

2. Design for a cause:

This new year, build your creative skills by helping an NGO design collaterals like a brochure, annual report theme layout, flyers, web design elements, images accompanying content for social media, etc and create online visibility & awareness about their cause through illustrations & graphics.

3. E-mentor young adults from low income families:

This new year, be a mentor and provide guidance to young people from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Conduct mock interviews, and provide constructive feedback for improvement thus helping them gain confidence and overcome fear. These skills and confidence will help them tackle real interviews as well.

4. Use your Content Curation and Creation skills to help an NGO:

This new year, discover the writer within you. Help an NGO to write blogs, curate content for their social media, annual reports, press releases, proposals for fundraisers, etc.

5. Volunteer with your friends and family:

This new year, plan a fun weekend with your friends and family by signing up for Group Virtual Volunteering. Engage online with beneficiaries from the NGOs and be a part of interesting activities and knowledge sharing sessions with them.
